Moonlighting Solutions isn’t a traditional locum tenens company. Founded in 2007 and now serving hospitals nationwide, it was built to address two converging crises: hospitals struggling to cover nights and weekends, and physicians struggling to balance their careers with their lives.

By aggregating high-quality physicians who have extra bandwidth, Moonlighting helps hospitals staff consistently while giving other doctors the protected time they need to prevent burnout. The result? Senior physicians stay in practice 5-10 years longer, while younger doctors gain access to schedules that allow for true work-life balance, and end up keeping them in practice for the long haul.

But scaling this model across a national network of more than 10,000 physicians comes with heavy operational complexity. Shifts were being scheduled through endless calls, texts, and emails, while account managers spent too much time tracking details instead of building relationships.
