Data Extractor Chrome Extension
Extract structured data from any webpage using AI and sync it directly into your Teambridge collections, in one click.

What Is It?
The Teambridge Chrome Extension adds a side panel to your browser that reads any webpage, uses AI to extract structured information (names, job titles, email addresses, work history, and more), and lets you review and sync that data directly into a Teambridge collection — without copying and pasting a single field.
Who it's for: Teambridge workspace admins and recruiters who want to source candidates, build worker profiles, or populate any collection from the web faster than manual data entry allows.
Common use cases:
Browse a LinkedIn profile → extract candidate details → create a record in your Candidates collection in seconds
Pull every job in someone's work history as linked records, complete with start/end dates
Extract data from job boards, company directories, or any public profile page
Use AI to generate fields that don't exist on the page, like a recruiter summary, skills list, or seniority rating
Setup
(First time only)
Step 1: Install the Extension
Install the Teambridge extension from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your Chrome toolbar so it's always one click away.
Step 2: Get Your API Credentials
In the Teambridge admin panel, navigate to Settings → API / Integrations and generate an OAuth Client ID and Client Secret. Keep these handy, you'll paste them into the extension.
Step 3: Connect to Teambridge
1. Click the Teambridge extension icon in your toolbar
2. Click Settings in the top-right corner of the side panel
3. Open the Credentialscard
4. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret
5. Click Connect
A green Connected indicator with a pulsing dot will appear when the connection is successful. If connection fails, double-check your credentials and ensure your Teambridge API access is active.
Step 4: Select a Collection
After connecting, the Collection card appears automatically.
1. Open the Collection card
2. Select the Teambridge collection you want to sync records into (e.g., "Candidates", "Workers")
3. Click Load Fields
This fetches all the writable fields in that collection.
Step 5: Map Your Fields
The Field Mapping card shows every field in your collection.
For each field, you will choose the following settings:
On/Off (Checkbox) - check the box to include the field in the extracted data and form (unchecked fields are hidden)
Set the fill mode using the dropdown:
Manual fill, you type the value yourself
AI Fill - Ponder extracts it from the page automatically
AI Fill (With Instructions) - you give Ponder a specific instruction for that field (see [AI Instructions](#ai-fill-with-instructions) below)
Example setup for a Candidates collection:
Click Save Settings when done.
Step 6 (Optional): Add Linked Collections
Linked collections let you extract multiple child records alongside the main record, for example, every job in a candidate's work history, or every certification they hold.
1. Open the Linked Collections card
2. Use the dropdown to select a collection to link (e.g., "Work History")
3. Click Load
4. Select the link-back field, this is the field in the linked collection that points back to the main record (e.g., "Candidate"). The first available link field is selected automatically.
5. For each field in the linked collection, choose AI Fill, AI Fill (With Instructions), or Manual fill
6. Click ↗ Add this collection
7. Click Save Settings
You can add multiple linked collections (e.g., both "Work History" and "Education").
How to Use: Extracting Data
Basic Extraction
Navigate to any profile page (LinkedIn, job board, company site)
Click the Teambridge extension icon to open the side panel
Click Extract Data — AI reads the page and fills the formReview and edit values
Click Sync to Teambridge — record created
Click View in TeamBridge to confirm
Linked Records
After extraction, linked collections appear as collapsible sections (e.g., "Work History · 4 records")
Each record can be expanded to review fields
Individual records can be removed (✕) before sync
All linked records are created and linked to the main record on Sync
Refresh and Reset
Refresh Extracted Data — re-runs extraction on the current page (overwrites the form)
Reset (header button, shown when form has data) — clears the form back to empty state without re-extracting
For AI Fill fields: Ponder infers the value from context (e.g., a "LinkedIn URL" field gets populated with the current page URL)
For AI Fill (With Instructions) fields: Ponder generates content per your instruction.
Examples:
"Write a 2-sentence recruiter summary of this candidate's background"For Manual Fill fields: AI is not used; you can type or select the value prior to sending it off to Teambridge
"List the candidate's top 3 technical skills as a comma-separated string"
"Rate this candidate's seniority from 1–5 based on years of experience"
Seeing is believing.
Let’s show you how it works.
