Review timesheets faster
A clearer review experience helps payroll teams understand activity and move through approvals with fewer clicks.
A closer look
What changed
The pay period worker table now shows the number of worked shifts for each worker. Approve and Next uses the full pending timesheet queue, including pay periods with more than 200 workers, and wraps to the next pending worker in table order.
Why it matters
Payroll reviewers can understand the size of each timesheet before opening it and continue through pending approvals without repeatedly returning to the pay period list.
How to use it
- 1Open a pay period and review the Shifts column for each worker.
- 2Open a pending worker timesheet and verify the included activity.
- 3Select Approve and Next to approve the current timesheet and open the next pending one.
- 4After the last pending timesheet is approved, return to the pay period overview.
Example
A payroll manager reviewing a large pay period can approve workers in sequence without losing their place after the first 200 records.
Availability
Available to eligible payroll users with access to pay period review and the current payroll experience.
Ask Customer SuccessGood to know
- The count includes distinct worked shifts with a clock in that are published and not archived.
- Scheduled but unworked, unpublished, and archived shifts are excluded. A value of 0 means no qualifying worked shifts.
- Net Pay remains available inside the worker detail even though the pay period table now uses the Shifts column in that position.
Worked shift count
See the number of worked shifts directly in the timesheet list before opening a record.
Approve and Next
Approve the current timesheet and move directly to the next one to keep reviews flowing.
