“We provide great service” is easy to say. A buyer deciding whether to trust a staffing firm needs something more specific: what happens when the plan changes, who responds and what evidence shows that the service works?
That makes Haley Marketing a useful company to follow ahead of Staffing World 2026. Its work focuses on helping staffing firms communicate their value and develop business. Our question for the conference is how that marketing story can stay connected to what clients actually experience.
Teambridge will be attending Staffing World in Denver, October 12 to 14. Haley Marketing's David Searns is scheduled to join the October 13 panel, No One Wants to Talk to You; Here’s How to Get the Sale Anyway, from 1:45 to 3 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. The panel also includes Tom Erb, Dan Mori and Mark Winter. See the official ASA session.
ASA also lists an author conversation with Searns at 1:05 p.m. that day about Building a Sales Growth Engine. Check the program again before attending because schedules can change. View the conference agenda.
The people and ideas behind Haley Marketing

Haley Marketing, co CEO

Haley Marketing, co CEO
David Searns brings a staffing marketing and consulting perspective. His company biography describes his background in a family staffing business, information systems and business education. He is the confirmed conference speaker featured here. Read Searns's profile.
Victoria Kenward leads Haley Marketing alongside Searns. The company's webinar biography describes her work on processes and applications including HaleyMail, Career Portal and Talent Showcase. That connects the firm's marketing advice with the systems used to deliver it. Kenward is included for her company and publishing work; we have not confirmed her attendance at Staffing World. See Haley's presenter biographies.
The two also wrote Building a Sales Growth Engine. In the September 2026 launch announcement, Searns describes eight connected components, including positioning, websites, sales support, buyer support, attraction, nurturing, automation and judgment supported by AI. It is a framework for coordinating growth activity, not a measured promise that any one tool will increase revenue. Read the authors' introduction.
The insight: a service claim needs evidence
In his January 2026 article on positioning, Searns argues that staffing differentiators should matter to the buyer, be demonstrable and be difficult to copy. His examples connect differentiation to operating practices, including reliability and client service. Read Haley's positioning guidance.
Our interpretation is straightforward: before asking marketing to make a claim more persuasive, ask operations whether it can explain and substantiate the claim.
Suppose a firm says it keeps clients informed when an assignment changes. A prospective customer might reasonably ask who owns the update, how the team knows the message was received and what happens if nobody responds. Those questions turn an adjective such as “responsive” into a service discussion.
The aim is not to replace a human relationship with a dashboard. It is to give the relationship something concrete to stand on.
What Haley Marketing offers staffing firms
Three of Haley's offerings are relevant to that conversation. These descriptions come from the company's service pages, not independent testing.
Sales Funnel Automation
The published service combines prospect list building, coordinated outreach and campaign management. Haley describes using email, LinkedIn and calls, with tracking and periodic strategy reviews. For a staffing firm, the useful question is which buyer problem the campaign will address and what evidence the sales team can bring to the resulting conversation. Explore Sales Funnel Automation.
HaleyMail
HaleyMail combines content for websites, email and sales activity with writing, design, email scheduling and engagement tracking. It gives a firm a way to sustain communication beyond a single sales call. The editorial question is what genuinely useful information the next message should contain. Explore HaleyMail.
Staffing websites and digital marketing
Haley also offers staffing websites, search optimization, paid advertising and social media services. These are places to communicate the agency's positioning and show relevant evidence to prospective clients and candidates. See Haley's service overview.
For a conversation with the Haley team, bring one service claim, the audience it is meant to persuade and the evidence you currently have. That is a more useful brief than simply asking for more leads.
A worked example: make the denominator visible
The following numbers are fictional. They demonstrate how a staffing firm could prepare a client discussion, not results achieved by Haley Marketing, Teambridge or a customer.
Imagine an agency reviewing one site's agreed assignments over a completed four week period. It uses one scheduled worker start as the unit of measurement and applies the same agreed rule for an on time arrival throughout.
| What happened | Count | Share of all scheduled starts |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduled starts in scope | 200 | 100% |
| Workers started on time | 184 | 92% |
| Workers started late | 8 | 4% |
| Workers did not start | 8 | 4% |
The agency can say that workers attended 192 of 200 scheduled starts, or 96%. It cannot describe that as 96% on time performance. Nor does attendance establish that every shift was completed.
That distinction changes the sales conversation. Instead of claiming “excellent reliability,” the team can explain the period, the result and the exceptions it is working on. An operations manager can then ask whether the same definition makes sense for their site.
Before using real results externally, reconcile corrections, explain cancellations and replacements, and obtain permission for any identifiable client story. A single period does not establish improvement, a representative company average or the cause of a result.
Where Teambridge fits: the records behind the story
Teambridge connects workforce activities such as scheduling and time tracking. Its documented timesheet review workflow includes reviewing records and taking approval actions. Those records can be an input to a service review, provided the team defines its measures, resolves exceptions and validates the underlying information. Review the Teambridge timesheet workflow.
Haley's perspective addresses how a staffing firm explains its value and develops relationships. Teambridge's perspective addresses the workforce operations that can help substantiate that explanation. These are complementary questions, not an announcement of a partnership or a product integration.
Before your next client conversation
Put the claim and its evidence in the same room
Name the specific client experience, not a generic adjective.
Agree the period, population, definition and exceptions.
Give the client a concrete next step and a responsible contact.
Questions we are taking to Denver
For Searns and the sales panel: what evidence helps a staffing buyer distinguish a genuine service difference from another polished pitch?
For Haley's team: how would you turn one verified operating result into useful website content, a sales conversation and an ongoing communication plan?
For staffing leaders: which claim would you be comfortable defending with your operations team in the room?
Teambridge is attending Staffing World to compare notes on those connections. If your marketing promise and day to day delivery are telling different stories, that is a worthwhile place to start. Connect with Teambridge, or explore Haley Marketing's services.
