Common questions
Does this calculate PTO balances?
No. It estimates operating coverage. PTO balance and eligibility calculations belong to the policy and payroll systems that own those records.
Can planned and unplanned absence use the same rate?
They can be combined for a high level estimate, but separate rates usually produce a more useful operating plan.
