Custom Table

Choose Custom Table when the workspace should run on an object the standard tables do not model. A custom table is a full collection: it gets its own schema, records, permissions, workflows, and workspaces.

Where you see this

On the Select Workspace Table screen when creating a new workspace. The table decides which fields, filters, tabs, and actions the page can use.

What it stores

Records that live in this table

Certifications tracked separately from generic documents.
Points Tracker records for attendance and performance programs.
Daily Time Reports or activity logs specific to the operation.
Vehicles, units, equipment, or assets that get assigned to shifts.
Departments, qualifications, parent companies, or tiers used as linked reference data.
